Combination Smoke and Heat Detector MC-408 merk Appron adalah perangkat untuk mendeteksi asap ataupun suhu panas dalam ruangan. Hasil deteksi asap maupun panas ini akan dikirim ke fire alarm control panel.

1. Deteksi asap menggunakan sistem metode photoelectric sedangkan deteksi panas menggunakan sistem metode fixed temperature.
2. Combination Smoke and Heat Detector MC-408 ini dilengkapi micro controller untuk menjamin konsistensi dan keakuratan deteksi sekaligus untuk meminimalisir terjadinya false alarm.
3. Combination Smoke and Heat Detector MC-408 ini memberikan alert terhadap indikasi kebakaran lebih awal.
